I feel so sad about my dear friend’s passing but I know she is with the Lord now and reunited with her loved ones who went ahead of her. I will always treasure the memories of the time I spent with her. She was very intelligent and wise and gave me uplifting advice when I needed it the most. Concha and I shared the same faith in Christ and enjoyed going to the meetings of the Women’s Missionary Union together. We worked on benevolent projects together and attended Bible studies too. We would go out to eat and she liked to drink hot tea when she had Chinese food. She ordered stuffed crab and hush puppies at seafood places. Very recently she made an Easter lunch for her friends and went all out making capirotada with sprinkles, nopalitos and shrimp patties. She was always a gracious hostess. Gardening and working on jigsaw puzzles were hobbies she enjoyed. I will miss taking and texting with her. I thank the Lord for giving me my friend that I met at Bethune Elementary in 1996. The years went by so fast and now I will have to wait until we meet again in our heavenly home. Esto no es  adios, más hasta luego mi estimada amiga y hermana en Cristo. Gracias por ser una persona tan sincera y amable.

Descansa en paz amiga ,un dia nos veremos de nuevo
