Connie Rojas Orozco was born on April 5, 1940, in Marlin, Texas, to Juan and Anita Rojas. She was a lifelong member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas, where she had been a devoted parishioner since 1972.
Connie put God first and firmly believed that everything was possible through Him. **“God willing,” or **“Si Dios quiere,” was her response whenever making plans for the future. She was a strong and faithful servant who cherished nature and treasured every minute of life that God granted her.
Connie went to be with our Lord and Savior on August 12, 2026. She has reunited with her loving husband of 61 years, Felix Orozco Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Anselmo Arguello and Josefa Colunga.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Frances Chavez; sons, Felix Orozco III; Johnny R. Orozco and wife, Leslie; and Anthony R. Orozco and wife, Melissa; daughters, Sonia Orozco Puttonen and husband, Paul, and MaryAnn Orozco Bradford and husband, Doug; grandchildren, Justin Orozco; Kristin Fuhrmann and husband, Jeremiah; Heather Chalambaga; Maloree Roederer and husband, Justin; Garrett Toole and wife, Kaytlyn; Ryan Orozco; Kaitlyn Orozco; Monique Angelica Orozco; Jonathan Orozco; and Jadyn Orozco; great-grandchildren, Ava Orozco, Hannah Orozco, Asher Orozco, Elijah Chalambaga, Josiah Chalambaga, Homero Chalambaga, Amelia Coronado, Jameson Coronado, Lincoln Coronado, Brinley Mae Allred, Ronan Roederer, Karver Roederer, and Jaxon Roederer; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie’s unwavering faith, loving spirit, and appreciation for the blessings of life will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of faith, family, and love will continue through the generations she leaves behind.
