Connie Darlene Ryan, beloved wife and mother of Plano, Texas passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 78.
Connie was born in Amherst, Nebraska to Carroll Dean and Helen Kinnaman who preceded her in death as well as her husband of 49 years, Jerry Ryan.
She attended Amherst High School and The Medical Institute of Colorado. She then had a career as a nurse and medical assistant spanning more than 30 years.
Connie was an artist that loved to quilt and won many awards for her creations. She enjoyed tending to her garden and watching her favorite Nebraska Huskers play volleyball and softball.
The family would like to thank the staff at Baylor, Scott & White for their professionalism and courtesy and for helping make her comfortable.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions in Connie’s memory may be made to the Assistance League of Greater Collin County.
Services will be held at the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Cemetery (located inside the mausoleum), at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220 on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. Visitation will start at 9:00 am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. The burial will be held at 12:00 pm, with a reception in the main funeral home building from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
