Conor, as an oversimplification, was a kind and loving person. Conor, in his context, was viciously loving and relentlessly kind. If you needed a hug, a giggle, or a good cry, Conor was there. I have never seen him greet anyone - long time friend or complete stranger - with anything less than an open heart, open mind, and open arms, be it in Thailand, Peru, or at home in Cape Town. He would do anything he could to help or comfort others, even to the detriment to himself, and I know this because I was blessed enough to experience it first hand. Humanity has lost an amazing human being, but I am so thankful that humanity even got to have him in the first place.

I was fortunate enough to become friends with Conor in the second half of Grade 10, and since then we became closer and closer. Conor was extremely sharp, fun loving and compassionate and gave everything 100% . A very recent memory was on his last visit to Cape Town in June this year, during which we drove up to Kruger Park and spent almost every day waking before dawn to explore the park for two weeks. One of Conor's passions was wildlife conservation, and he had dreams to help with South Africa's conservation in future. Conor was like a brother to me and he will be sorely missed. 

Conor and I were classmates throughout most of high-school. I have so many great memories of him, but one in particular might help illustrate his amazing personality and character.  As a class exercise, we all had to play a game: one person falls backwards, and trusts their partner to catch them from behind. I paired up with Conor, and we ended up doing the exercise for hours, well after everyone else had moved on, catching each other over and over. This recollection sums up my memories of Conor, as a trustworthy, fun-loving, and thoughtful friend. He was always there for you, no matter what. The more I got to know Conor, the more he impressed me. He was a good friend, an intelligent classmate who always pushed and encouraged me, and a wonderful older brother to his sister. My memories of Conor are very fond, and I'm so sad that he's gone. Everyone who knew him will miss his warm presence and great character. My sincerest condolences go out to his family. 



 don't remember one specific memory of Conor to be honest. Maybe because we spemt so much time together its all mangled into one really.  

What I do remember though is that Conor was one of the best friends I could have ever hoped for. He made my life in school (especially during IT classes) and after school always filled with laughs and banter.   It always made me laugh when he would sarcastically say "now that's below the belt" 

Conor was a truly kind, caring and wonderful man and a true one in a million friend. It saddens me beyond belief that he he is no longer with us but I will always remember that he really did standout and was a far better man than many I have known and I loved him like a brother.   

Even in his untimely passing. I and I'm sure many others have a lifetimes worth of fantastic memories with him. 

Thank you for raising such a wonderful man and I am truly sorry for what's happened. 

Conor was a classmate of mine at ISCT. He grew from a funny, loveable boy to an ambitious man who knew what he wanted from life. Whether he was trying to beat me in Statistics or be the best Orion house mascot there was, Conor was fearless and gave everything 100%.  

One of my fondest memories of him was on Valentine's Day in Year 10, when we needed a "cupid" to go around and deliver roses. Conor volunteered instantly, and dressed up in a pink sparkly tutu to run around the school and hand out roses. He never let what other people thought of him get him down, and was always trying to make other people laugh. He was brave, and funny, and always fearlessly himself. I'm glad I got to know him. I'm so sorry he's gone.

Connor was a student in my class at ISCT, in Cape Town. He was a wonderful young man: respectful, considerate, hard working, and funny! He was a great friend, and an awesome big brother to his sister. I have such good memories of him.  My heart is broken by this devastating news. Sending much love and prayers to his mom, dad and sister. RIP sweet Connor xx

I remember the first time we met Connorwhen  he came back from school in Capetown, South Africa to hang out with my son Tom.  What struck me immediately was how mature, kind natured and sweet he was. I can’t believe he’s passed away, how very sad. My condolences to his lovely mum (also Irish like myself) who I met once.... RIP Conor
