CORA JUANEZ REED -- 82, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2012. Cora was born on March 9, 1929, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Lillie Mae and Robert Shafer. She was the oldest of 8 children. She married Chester Reed on April 20, 1946. Cora a Chester were married for 54 years before his own passing in 2001. Cora is survived by children, Dianna, Julius Robert and Melissa, 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She will always remain "Grannie" to countless others.
The memorial and service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on January 11, 2012, at Grove Hill Funeral Home located at 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
