Corbin “Butch” Youngblood, age 83, passed away on August 2, 2025, at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was born on June 3, 1942, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Velma Whitfield and Corbin Youngblood, Sr.
Butch married Linda Sue Purkey in 1959 and they had three children (Vince, Susan, and Michael), two grandchildren (Kourtnee and Kayla), and three great-grandchildren (Jada, Jalissa, and Joni).
He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and worked for multiple decades at Meisel in Dallas. His true passion centered around riding his recumbent and motorcycle bikes and the many folks who shared those trips.
He leaves behind friends and loved ones who will always remember his quiet strength, determination, and willingness to help. Although we deeply miss him, we are grateful for every moment we had together and the memories we will carry forward.
A memorial service for Corbin will be held Friday, August 8, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
