Daniel Barrientos was born in Dallas, TX on October 31, 1934 and passed away peacefully on October 25, 2019 with family at his side.
Daniel was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandpoo, great-grandpoo and tío. He graduated from Crozier Tech. He retired from the USPS with over 45 years of service. He enjoyed playing golf with family and friends and was a member of several golf associations.
Daniel is survived by his brother Manuel; son, Dennis (Aurora); daughters, Donna and Marie (Randy); five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by loving wife Alice, two sisters, his mother and father.
Visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home in Dallas on October 30 from 5-8pm with rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held on October 31 at 12:00pm with burial to follow.

Dan was a soccer coach and mentor to many teens in the CFB area. He taught them soccer skills, and even more importantly, he honored these boys with his love, attention and wisdom. A wonderful gentleman our family always appreciated. Our sympathy to all of his family.
