John David Jacocks ("David"), a beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend, peacefully passed away on February 18, 2025. He was born October 12, 1946 to the late Buritt and Sarah Rose Jacocks, and was raised in Connecticut with his sister, Martha.
David excelled in hospital administration, gaining recognition for revitalizing struggling hospitals. He earned a Master's in Hospital and Health Care Administration from the University of Alabama and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of New Haven.

An avid Alabama football fan, David cherished cars - especially his red Thunderbird - and loved riding his Triumph motorcycle. Cruising Lakewood listening to oldies was a favorite pastime.
Above all, he adored his family, filling their lives with his warmth, sharp intellect and quick wit. David is survived by his 2nd wife, Mary; children, Jennifer, Tonya, Matthew, Natalie, Tessa, and Amber; and a proud grandfather to many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Valerie; daughter, Nicole; and grandson, Jack.
