David Mackie Sr., 59, passed away March 9, 2022 in Mesquite, TX. He was born March 19, 1962 in Dallas to Joyce and Thomas Mackie. David grew up and attended school in Mesquite. He had 2 children and one stepdaughter. In his spare time David enjoyed watching Family Guy, listening to music from the 70’s he saw Robin Trower in concert 16 times! He truly enjoyed time with his boxer Reese’s and they had a very special bond including her being with him during his final moments.
David is preceded in death by his parents Joyce and Thomas Mackie; and Grandmother, Maggie Fielding.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, David Mackie Jr and wife, Holli, Daveda Morris and husband, Corey, Elizabeth Johnson and husband Ricky; best friend and ex-wife, Jeannie Mackie; grandchildren that he loved more than anything in the world, Serenity, October, Nathaniel, Marilyn, Draven, and Brielle; brother, Rick and wife Pam; nephew, and several great nieces.
