

David Lyle Millet , 73, died peacefully at home January 13, 2012. He was born November 26,1938 to William P. and Margaret Gessell Millet. He was president of Millet the Printer, founded by his grandfather W. Lyle Millet in 1933, where he worked for 58 years. He attended North Dallas High School. He was an active member of Redeemer Bible Church. His passion was contributing to evangelical ministries. He was especially fond of supporting missionaries who served around the world. He is survived by his wife Susan; son David Lyle Millet Jr.; daughters Denise Millet Owen and husband Mike, Dana Millet and husband Jeff Kremer, Debra Millet Gilmore and husband Greg and step-children Sally Gay Clifton, Thomas Reilly III and Ann Poe; brothers William E. Millet and wife LoEtta and Daniel M. Millet and wife Jean; grandchildren Randolph, Renee, Richard and Robin Owen, Jeffrey and Zachary Mailey, Millet and Margaret Gilmore and former wife and friend Mary Nell Tripp. Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, at Redeemer Bible Church, 721 Easton Road, Dallas, Rev. Donald M. Geiger officiating.
