David Eugene Mullins

David was born to Barbara Ann Carty Mullins and Eugene Herbert Mullins in Richmond, Indiana on November 8, 1955. He was raised in Dallas, Texas by his stepfather, Raymond K. Burns and his mother Barbara. David was a proud graduate of Skyline High School.

David loved movies of all kinds and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He had recently welcomed his first grandchild and she was the joy of his life. Those that know David, know that when he was dealing with difficult times, he found comfort in humor and he would expect no less from those of us honoring his memory.

David was preceded in death by his father, Raymond K. Burns. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Burns; his only son, Matthew Mullins and wife Lauren along with their daughter Madison. He is also survived by his brother Kenny Mullins and wife Christy; brother Kevin Burns and wife Christi; brother Ty Burns and wife Cathy; sister Darla Burns-McCrary and husband Paul Frank; sister Lisa Johnson and Husband Terry; sister Tina Stensrud and husband Andy, and his lifelong best friend of 60 years John Barrett.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 12-3pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 10am at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow.
