He was born on July 11, 1936, in Decatur, TX, to Albert and Addie North.
David is survived by daughter, Kelly North; son, Kenn North and wife Lydia; daughter, Tonya Gosnay and husband Carl; son, Wayne North and wife Terry; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Liz Sloan; sisters-in-law, Doris Hunsucker and Barbara Willoughby.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jean North; parents, Albert and Addie North; daughter, Lisa Gayle North; sister, Joyce Winkle and brother, Leroy North.
A memorial service will be held on July 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
