David is survived by his son, Matthew Peacock, and daughter-in-law, Michelle Peacock; his daughter, Dava Arnold, and son-in-law, John Arnold; his grandsons, Jonathan Arnold, Kade Peacock, Zach Peacock, and Austin Peacock; and his granddaughters, Chelsea Marquart, Jenny Fryar, and Emily Arnold. He is also survived by his sister, Carrol Anderson, and sister-in-law, Judy Lowry. David was an uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Odis and Ruby Peacock; his daughter, Celeste Hendricks; and his brothers, sisters, and brothers- and sisters-in-law.
David’s 88 years were filled with love, laughter, and devotion to family and friends. He never met a stranger and never missed an opportunity to share a story. His warm heart, kind spirit, and gift for conversation touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
The memorial service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 1pm. Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 12411 Templeton Trail, Farmers Branch, TX 75234.
