

David was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. He loved his family, working very hard to provide for them. He retired from Taylor Publishing Company after 37 years of service as a machinist. In his leisure time, he spent time outdoors, fishing, camping, grilling and having fun with family and friends. He loved music and some of his favorite music artist were Leonard Skinner, Eric Clapton, The Eagles, Lionel Richey and Fleetwood Mac.
David was born on May 26, 1946 to Catarino Mata Perez and Maria Soria Perez in Marlin, Texas. He was preceded in death by both his parents, sister Dolores Duron, brother George Perez and grandson Malachi Lopez.
David was survived by his wife Maria Ramos Perez, four children: Hope Perez Sain, David Moreno and spouse Claudia Moreno, Pricilla Perez and Diane Gonzales Lopez. He raised 4 stepchildren: Shelia Ford, Paul Ford, Michelle Ramos and Gustavo Rivera; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Olivia Perez Esparza and Alisia Perez; seven brothers, Manuel Perez and spouse Thelma Gomez Perez, Catarino M. Perez, Jr., Richard Perez, Alfred Perez and spouse Josefa Martinez Perez, Edward Perez and spouse Ciria Mendoza Perez, Samuel Perez and spouse Irene Renfro Perez, and Michael Perez and spouse Mary Pena Perez and host of nieces and nephews.
David will be remembered for his love and loyalty of family and his great sense of humor, his fabulous smile, his endless generosity and friendships and so much more. He left us with so many great memories and will be missed by all of us.
