David Wayne Peters

He was an electrician for many years before retiring, and thoroughly enjoyed his work.

David loved spending time with family more than anything. He also enjoyed his time in East Texas on his land and tinkering with random items and rebuilding or repurposing them. His favorite pastime was watching NASCAR which he loved and his favorite racer Dale Earnhardt.

David was someone who lived his life to the fullest, fun loving, and adventurous person and a huge heart he would do anything for anyone. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed.

David is preceded in death by, his parents Charlene and James Peters; Grandparents, Nat and Wowo, Choice and Loretta Peters; Nephew, Tommy Peters Jr.

He is survived by his children, Samantha Baas and husband Justin of Seattle, WA, Jayme Peters-Briscoe of Flower Mound, Tx and husband Mark, David W. Peters Jr. and wife Kari, of Lewisville, TX ; grandchildren, Reagan Baas, Lauren Baas, Ryan Briscoe, Cooper Peters, and Caden Peters; Siblings, Tom Peters of Arlington, TX and Gwen Lovelis of Nashville, AR; and niece, Pamela Peters Witcher of Georgia.

A graveside service for David will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A burial will occur at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.

A short Graveside visitation will begin at 9:15am prior to service
