David, (Davey) Richard Schell, age 61, peacefully passed away on March 31st, 2022. He enjoyed the outdoor life, exploring different cities and places. He had a variety of talents ranging from roofing to park ranger to auto mechanic, heating and air conditioner maintenance, tree trimmer, " raccoon exterminator", and all around handy man. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others.
David's true passion was playing the drums and always had a set close at hand for practice and playing, Gene Krupa was his idol.
David was preceded in death by his father, Richard Schell and his nephew, Matthew Schell.
He is survived by one daughter, Ashley Schell Fontenot, two grandchildren, Jude Perez and Aurelia Fontenot; his mother, Rosemary Schell; and nine siblings, Michael Schell (Patricia), Diane Johnson (David), John Schell (Stephanie), Eddie Schell (Nell), Steven Schell (Dawn), Mary Ann Ghormely (Jason), Joanne Schell, Tommy Schell and Susan Schell; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
