Dawniele Dyeanti Johnson was born August 11, 1987 in Dallas, Texas to the parents of Mary Etta Johnson and Donnell Cook.

Dawniele was educated in the Dallas Public School System where she attended Dallas Skyline High School. She leaves behind her one and only child Serinity Makayla Johnson whom she loved with all her heart. Early in her life she met her best friend LaTiejara Jones. She became the God parents to all of her children, (Tierra, Ayanna & Blaze) she also leaves her loving niece, Trenity Aaliyah Okedele who she called “Tookie”.

Dawniele was a daughter, mother, sister, aunt and a best friend. She always had a smile on her face. She lived her life worry free and everyday to its fullest. She truly lived like there was no tomorrow. She was just as honest and goofy as her mother. So we all know they greeted each other with a smile and some not so good dance moves.

Dawniele entered eternal rest November 8, 2019. She was loved and will he missed forever.

She was greeted at the gates by her mother, Mary Etta Coleman, uncle, Clem Johnson and cousin, Aaron Gault.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Serinity Johnson (Moon); her lifetime friend, LaTiejara Jones; father, Donnell Cook and step father, Willie Coleman; sisters, Tavia Johnson, Tearra Coleman, Lisa Boston and Briana Coleman; brothers, J’Qulan Wright, Byron James(Bryan) and Donnell Smith; nieces, Trenity Aaliyah Okedele, Lyrik James, Stoney James and Kayla Brown; nephews, Adryon James and Jakavion Brown; grandparents, Eddie Mae and Mose Johnson and Bobbie and Clem Johnson and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

I met dawniele through my mom (Carol ziglar) my mom and your grandmother were best friends and work for social security together for a long time. So long, I started calling your grandmother auntie Mary. Whenever I’d visit their office I’d sit and talk to auntie Mary for a looong time. The relationship I had with your granny is the same relationship dawniele and Tay had with my mom. I didn’t know dawniele very well but we had a mutual respect for each other’s mother. My mom ALWAYS talked about her and Tay. Even brought you out to my kids birthday party. I’m soo sorry you had to go through this moon 🌙 just know we’re here for you 💋🥰😘

It seems like a lifetime ago that we were all kids and hanging out at the rec, playing at school or walking the neighborhood to each others houses. Sometimes I think back and wish it was still that time, when we had no worries we just wanted to be together. We all grew up together and we were all like family. If only we could go back, even for a little while, at least then we would have Dawniele and her momma back in this life. Time has happened and we have gone down different paths, but we remember those good times and even if we can't be together like we used to our hearts will always be with each other. Love to you all!

Tavia was my friend from 1st grade all the way to now. Becoming her friend came with her momma being my momma and Dawnielle being my sister n Quay being my brother. We shared our family. We were always together all through elementary (girl scouts and we even ran track) then middle school. She was the sister who followed me and Tavia and us around. Tavia used to tell her go home Dawielle, u cant go with us but she still got to go anyway. Memories are what we hold and share. Dawielle u will be missed.

I met Dawniele when both my daughters started cheering for the Fair Park Cardinals and her niece Trenity and daughter Moon cheered also. We became friends that ultimately became family. Dawniele loved the kids! I remember she was in the hospital and I told her I was coming to see her when I got off work, I asked her if she wanted anything and she said no. As soon as I got to the hospital she tells me to go to Corner Bakery to get her some soup and a cookie! I was like "D, I asked you what you wanted beforehand and now you want me to go back out!" But....I I will truly miss my homie. 🥰

I remember always greeting and being greeted when walking over to the receptionist area everyday. No matter how she felt, she was always pleasant with me. We both loved Wing Stop. Dawniele will be greatly missed. I send my prayers and condolences to the family. Praying for comfort, peace and provision. In the Name of Jesus.
