Debra Yvette Allen, age 63, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on June 13, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. Born on November 30, 1962, in Dallas to James and Nancy Allen, Debbie was raised in Rockwall, Texas, where she grew up surrounded by family, faith, and community. She graduated from Rockwall High School, carrying with her the friendships, values, and joy that shaped her early walk with Christ and continued to guide her throughout her life.
Debbie lived her life anchored in Christ. Her faith was not something she simply professed—it was something she practiced daily, with humility, courage, and a servant’s heart. As a mother of three daughters, she poured God’s love into her home, teaching her children to walk in grace, compassion, and strength. She often said her daughters were her greatest earthly blessing, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Professionally, Debbie served as a consultant for Discovery Experts, where she was known for her integrity, kindness, and ability to uplift those around her. But her true calling was ministry. She lived out the Gospel in both quiet and bold ways—through prayer, through presence, and through acts of compassion that reflected the heart of Jesus.
Debbie volunteered as a chaplain at a local hospital, offering prayer, comfort, and hope to patients and families in their most vulnerable moments. She also served faithfully with The Lovely Ministries, reaching out to women on the streets and in strip clubs with dignity, encouragement, and the message that they were deeply loved by God. Her involvement in women’s Bible studies brought her spiritual growth, deep community, and opportunities to pour into others with wisdom and joy.
She delighted in God’s creation—gardening in the sunshine, taking road trips that reminded her of the beauty of the world, and spending treasured time with her grandchildren, who were the joy of her heart. She prayed for them daily, celebrated their milestones, and loved them with a tenderness that reflected her faith.
Those who knew Debbie will remember her as joyful, selfless, and full of life. She was the one who prayed with you, laughed with you, cried with you, and danced with you. Her family and friends lovingly call her their “dancing queen,” a woman whose spirit radiated joy and whose life testified to the goodness of God.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, James and Nancy Allen, and her former father in law, Allen Jones.
She is survived by her daughters: Katie McCann, Jenny (Tolby) Wilcox, and Lauren Jones; by her beloved grandchildren: Natalie (20), Matthew (11), Atticus (9), Peyton (8), Waylon (7), Mila (6), and Theo (4). She is also survived by her former mother in law and close friend, Joyce Jones; her brothers Rodney (Rebecca) Allen, Don (Gina) Allen, and Greg (Deborah) Allen; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will continue to carry her legacy forward.
Visitation will be held at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228 on June 19, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with the Funeral Service to begin at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
