I am so sorry to hear about (aunt) Delzie's passing. My mother passed in 2021. Sending the whole Madkins family our condolences.  The Jenkins/Bajkowski families

Ms. Delzie Madkins was 1 of the 1st people to welcome me wholeheartedly to the Texas Dept of Criminal Justice Parole Division.  She not only welcomed me but made it her business to take me under her wings like she was my 2nd or 3rd Mama n more like  a God-Grandaughter. We became close over time as she fell in love with my 3 sons. I found myself checking on her all the time once i found she was living alone awhile. After 25 years of service I was able to  help coordinate the biggest celebration for her n contacted her closest sibling... her brother Stanford to join us downtown  Dallas. She was so surprised n excited at the same time that her smile was as big as Texas! I will truly miss our lil talks, her Mother's advice, her help, her wisdom of life n her smile. Heaven has gained a true n special angel with Delzie Madkins. Rest in Love n Heavenly Peace now Ms Delzie until I see you again. Well done thy faithful servant,  well done. 😘😇

I will never forget her smile, encouraging words, and HUGE HEART! This lady had a heart of gold and LOVED people! It was an honor to know her and help take care of her. My deepest condolences and prayers go out to the family and friends of Ms. Delzie!

Mrs. Delzie was a Jewel , she loved people. My fondest memory of her she caling me "Pee Wee", and smiling each time. Mrs. Delzie loved her family & her extended Parole Division family as well. R.I.P Mrs. Delzie

Delzie was never just my Administrative Assistant, but my other mother at work. She loved me and took very good care of me both professionally and personally. I will continue to miss her contagious smile and her big heart. I thank God for the time he allowed her in my life. 

I called her Ms. Delzie and she called me Patti, she said I looked liked Patti Labelle. Ms. Delzie worked with me @ Texas Department of Criminal Justice.  She loved people and she took care of all of us. She was beautiful,  very smart and had the most beautiful smile.  R.I.P.
