Everything must have its end, or there is no Beginning. Death is not the opposite of Life, but the counterpart to Birth. Death is beautiful because it represents change. Demarreo you will be truly missed, your jokes, smile and most of all your respect for others. We know that you are free of suffering and pain, but God has healed you on the other side and now you are in his arms. You were a big part of me because you share a part of me in your big brother DeAndre as I saw you and DeAndre chat on FaceTime or talk on the phone laughing and just the love between you two made me smile even when you were going through you never ceased to smile and joke around with him and you guys always said you loved each other when yawl hung up.. that bond yawl shared will remain between you guys forever and  no one can take that away...Rest Well Demarreo you will be truly missed. Absent from the body is to be Present with the Lord..

I will never forget the day my son brought you to our home. That day turned into two years and our home became your home. I watched you struggle,  I watched you grow,  I watched you laugh, I watched you cry.  I watched you fight. I watched you win. I was privileged to introduce both you and your mom to Christ. I beamed with pride as you and my other children (your bonus brothers and sister) sang in the youth choir.  I am so proud of the man you became.  My only regret is that I wasn't able to be there for you in this trial. But the God I introduced you to was there and has always been there.  I love you and am grateful for the time God saw fit for us to share.

My brother Marreo, 
I have been trying to figure out just what to say, but the words just won’t come to me. I’ve deleted this about 6 times, it’s crazy. We didn’t have the closest relationship but regardless you were my big brother. Looking back at old pictures I wish I would have known how much time we had left together I would have made better use of it. When you met daddy, you were so happy to be a “Pierre” you couldn’t wait to meet your aunts, uncles, cousins, and Granny. You were always there at the most important times like my graduation and Taylor’s. We talked so much mess about how daddy got Taylor a better car than us lol. You were there when Taylor had his accident and Granny’s homegoing. When you got sick, I put off coming to see you for the longest. I wish I would have visited more often, but I didn’t like seeing you hurting and going through all that you went through. I came and spent some time with you before you left and I’m glad I did. I prayed for you to get better so you could stay with us but realized I was being selfish. You were never ours to keep and God called you home a few days later. All you wanted was to belong and feel loved. The magnitude of love that people have for you is unmeasurable. Thank you for the laughs, memories, and unconditional love. Say hi to granny for me. Hopefully you’ve found papa somewhere up there, I know you wanted to meet him so bad. Until we meet again Marreo “The Best Pierre” I LOVE YOU!!

Sometimes we try to question why things happen the way they do. Life sometimes seems unfair but I believe that God knew exactly what he was doing. You were always such a joy to be around and brought light into any room you walked into. I know for sure you brought so much joy and laughter to so many of us that were part of 2005 Graduate Class. Thanks for being my friend, even though you bullied me in elementary lol 😆. We will cherish and always talk/laugh about the moments we shared with you. You will be missed Demarreo.

After almost 12 years of being in your fathers life, I still stand on our relationship we built together as you became a part of our home. It’s unfortunate but our memories stand within the last months of your departure. You kept making conversations with me and we both would burst out laughing when I tried to lift your heavy behind lol... Not to think about when you tried getting up after I fussed about you falling, well you just decided to collapse on me and we both were down!!! It’s like you looked at me like you were shocked I was sooo goofy and fun!!! 🤩 shocking huh??? I still have the videos of you taking stands alone also. I will close by saying this, You mentioned to me that you were never going to forget what I done for you and how you would pay me back. My respond was, I’m a humble loving individual that’s not looking for credit and recognition from anyone, I’m just doing what God needed me to do along with you and your dad.  Well stepson ... you earning your wings paid me in full!!!! You are now rejoicing in heaven with the other angels about your renewed soul God has now restored!!!
