Dennis Albert LaBrie, 66, born March 24, 1948 in New York, New York, passed away February 14, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. The son of Mary Griffith & Raymond LaBrie. Graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, 1967. Served in Vietnam 68-69 as a marine mechanic, after serving Dennis went to work for Dallas Power and Light (TU Electric) retiring in 1995. Survived by his wife Michelle LaBrie; two sons, Matthew and Jimmy; brother, Bobby Joe Nye; two sisters, Donna LaBrie and Denise Upham. The family will receive friends, Monday, February 23, 2015, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, with a Rosary service to begin at 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held, Tuesday, February 24, 2015, 11:30 AM, St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson, Dallas. Interment will follow, 2:00 PM, DFW National Cemetery. Reception will be held at the VFW Post, 9179 Garland Road, Dallas, Texas 75218 following the interment.
