

Born in Odessa, Texas, on October 13, 1927, Dolores attended school in Fort Worth before graduating from Sunset High School in Dallas, and North Texas State in Denton.
Dolores began her professional life as a teacher at Wilmer-Hutchins High School before moving on to a long, successful career as a manager and executive at Atlantic Richfield (ARCO) in Dallas. After retirement, she enjoyed her photography and painting hobbies, and her role as grande dame to her large extended family.
Dolores is survived by her brother Jim Bilyeu and his children Holly, Kelly, and Bill, and their children. Also by her son David Young and his wife Cecile, and her daughter Deena Park and her husband Bill. Also survived by her grandchildren Jennifer Stephens, Lilac Young, Christie Herron and her husband David Herron, and George Young; her great grandchildren Cutter Stephens, Bailee Stephens, Brooklyn Stephens, Cayden Chattin, Brody Herron, and Ruth Jean Herron; her step children Becky and Bob Douglas and children, and Gary and Susan Chamberlain and children; her adopted daughter Lea Anne Bartee.

A graveside service for Dolores will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00pm Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
