Dolores Guevara Chavez

have a memory or condolence to add?

I remember my Aunt Delores as a kind and caring presence. Whenever we visited Dallas, she greeted me by embracing my face in both of her hands, smiling big, and kissing me on the cheek. Such a generous spirit! I am comforted that her pain is over, but I am also sad that such a wonderful person is gone. My condolences to family and friends.

I remember Aunt Dolores was always focused on helping others, helping her siblings and especially helping Uncle Carlos. I wish I could be there with you all.
Sending hugs and much love,

While I did not live in Dallas, I feel that as a child Dolores' presence was in my life. I have the phrase my mom would speak, "My sister Dolores..." etched in my memory. In retrospect, we felt her cheerful care for us from thousands of miles away.

To the immediate and extended family members whom Dolores lived her life among, I'm so very sorry to hear of her passing. I too am grateful that her soul has flown her beleaguered body. She has moved on to rest and contemplation of Life and eternity. From her place in heaven she is always available to be the gentle voice of kindness and warm support when you need a lift. I'm sure she will be there to greet us when our time comes.

I am so happy you are at peace and your mind and body are whole again. I love you and miss you.
I loved and at the same time, I disliked seeing you at the assisted living place because it was like a prison.
Thank you for being such a wonderful, loving, generous Tia in my life. You were always so thoughtful when it came to thinking about all your nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.
You gave so much of your life to take care of others, including Grandma Chavez in her last years of illness before she passed away.
May you be at peace, be happy, fly free, say hello to our elders for me.
I will cherish the memories we have of getting together for holidays, birthdays and visits.
