Dolores was born in Dallas, TX on October 31, 1946 to Willie and Vicenta Moon Luna. She was married to Joe S. Pesina Sr. on March 25, 1967; they were married for 59 years.
Dolores enjoyed cooking , bowling, playing softball, listening to music, dancing and loved to play bingo. She was also actively involved in her local church, faithfully participating in its ministries and activities.
Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Vicenta Moon Luna and her beloved daughter, Yolanda Denise Pesina.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joe S. Pesina Sr.; sons and daughters in law, Jerome R. Pesina and wife Lisa Pesina, Joe S. Pesina, Jr., Christopher Pesina and wife Michelle Solis-Pesina and Daniel R. Pesina and wife Lydia Pesina. Dolores was also a proud grandmother to five grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to seven great grandchildren, who brought immense joy and love into her life.
A Mass of Christian burial and visitation will all be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm with the Rosary beginning at 6:30 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 9:00 am, followed by the burial at 10:00 am.
