Dolores Bishop Woods

Dolores Joan Bishop Woods, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband E. Harrison Woods and her parents Henry and Erna Bishop. Born August 22, 1928, Dolores, a lifelong Dallas resident was a proud graduate of Crozier Tech High School, who modeled for Neiman Marcus before entering the work force. She and Harrison were married in May of 1953, enjoying 44 years together before he passed away in 1998. Dolores loved her family and was always happiest when her grandkids were with her.

She is survived by three children; son, Craig (Rene’), daughters, Sandra Walker (David) and Ann Potter, grandchildren; Craig Jr. (Alisha), Chad, Emily Potter, Jimmy Potter; great grandchildren, Caitlyn and Emma Long, and her friend of 70+ years, Billie Wade.

The family extends their humble thanks to her gracious caretakers from VNA Hospice of North Texas (Renee, Van, Sepedeh, Jenny, Paul, Diane, Stephanie, Michelle, Paula and Joan).

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
