Mr. Donald E Howell

Donald Earl Howell, age 80, of Bogata, Texas, entered Heaven on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. Donald was born on July 12, 1942, to Gilbert Lebon Howell and Flossie Pearl Howell. He was one of seven children. He grew up in Bogata, TX, and played football for the Bogata Bulldogs. Donald was employed by Rochester Gauges for many years, where he made many lifelong friends. He liked traveling, fishing, spending time outside in the sun working in his yard and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his present wife, Frances Howell of Bogata, TX , daughter LaTresa Schutz and husband, Randy of Mesquite, TX , cherished grandchildren Chase Schutz and wife, Katie of Fate, TX , Chance Schutz, and wife, Lauren of Decatur, TX, Chandler Howell of Tulsa, OK, and Allison Hopperstad of Forney, TX and cherished great grandchildren Colton Ritchie, Kylar Schutz, Liam Schutz, and Lennon Schutz. Stepsons Bob Clouse and wife Dawn, Gary Clouse and wife Lisa. Brothers Carlos Howell and wife Jeannie, Keith Howell and wife Lee and sister Delilah Murray and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Janice Lee Howell, and son Landon Wade Howell, parents Gilbert and Flossie Howell, brother Wayne Howell and sisters Barbara Nell Scoggins and Carol Jean McFarland.

Graveside Memorial will be held at Laurel Land Funeral , 6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232.
