Dora Duran, 91, of Dallas, TX, passed away on July 12th, 2022. She was born in Terrell, TX on March 24th, 1931. Dora graduated from Parkland Medical Center’s LVN program. She was married to Melquiades Duran, Sr. Dora worked initially as a seamstress, and later had a long career as an LVN.
Dora loved the Lord and was a member of Casa View Assembly of God and Women’s Bible Study. She had a passion for travel (caverns), singing (hymns), and sewing.
She is survived by her children, Rebecca Rendon, Adelita Jones, Edward Duran (Laurie), and Priscilla Duran; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
She is preceded by her husband and son, Melquiades Duran, Jr.
