Worked civil service with Doris in San Antonio Texas in the late 80's. I was a summer hire no more than 17 or 18 years old at the time. Ill always remember her sassiness and wit.  She would always send me out to grab her lunches and then give me trouble when I got back if something wasn't right. Lol! But I'll always remember how nice she was and how easy she was to talk to. Always gave me real sound advice when it came to college and education. So sorry to hear that she had passed..
