Doris E Collins

Doris E. Collins, 97, passed away on October 18, 2019. She was born in the beautiful coastal city of Galveston, Texas on April 17, 1922 to her loving parents, Oscar and Betsy Enge. Doris attended Ball High School in Galveston and went onto meeting her husband and together building their cherished family. Doris took great pride in caring for her family as a housewife, working as a child care provider at Highland Park United Methodist Church, and loved giving back to her community by volunteering her time at Methodist Hospital in Pleasant Grove.

Doris is proceeded in death by her dear husband RA Collins; Parents Oscar and Betsy Enge; Siblings Agnes Dupla, Edna Mae Rose, Mary Hastings, Oscar Enge; Son Charles Lloyd Jr.; and Granddaughter Betsy Collins. She will be profoundly missed and always remembered by her family and friends. She is survived by her children Wayne Collins and his wife Vicki, Ronald Collins and his wife Pam, Steve Collins and his wife Peggy, Elizabeth Collins Hale and her husband Bill; Grandchildren Thomas and Jennifer Collins, Jason and Jessica Collins, Ashlee and Kevin Davis, Crystal and Ozzie Torres, Lauren and KC Gibson, John and Felisha Collins, Katy Collins and Matt Fletcher, Kristy Collins, Deeana and Kevin Meade, Michael Rosiles; 10 Great-Grandchilden and numerous Nieces, Nephews and beloved friends.
