After graduating from high school she married Bryant Jordan Hunton. They were married for 71 years and had three children. Mrs. Hunton worked in the automotive industry as an Executive Secretary.
Mrs. Hunton is preceded in death by her daughter, Dana Lynn Hunton. She is survived by her husband, two sons Steven M. Hunton of Austin and Mark R. Hunton of Dallas, granddaughter Danielle Hanes and her husband Jeff of Windsor, Missouri; two great-grandchildren Lucas and Evangeline Hanes, sisters Louise McClure of Waco, Francine Sanders of Bay City, Mary Blitch of Austin, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church on Garland Road with Pastor Larry NeGron officiating.
Interment will take place afterwards at Laureland Cemetery.
