Dorothy Jane Burdick

Dorothy was a member of Elam Road Baptist Church for over 30 years, where she taught Sunday School.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Alfred Leroy Burdick, of Dallas, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Suzanne Holcomb, of Plano, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Misty Burdick, of Rowlett, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Candy and Gary Fields, of Mesquite, Texas; granddaughter, Traci O’Dwyer and husband Jeff O’Dwyer, of Frisco, Texas; grandson, Brandon Burdick, of Rowlett, Texas; and great-granddaughter, Piper O’Dwyer, of Frisco, Texas; and brother, Arthur "Sonny" Loftis of Lewisville, TX.

Dorothy’s family will receive friends on Monday, October 26, 2015, at 1:00 P.M., and Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 P.M., both at Grove Hill Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, who went to be with the Lord only 3 months before her, and they are now rejoicing in their reunion in Heaven.
