Dorothy Rose Drews was born on February 7, 1923, in Waco, Texas to parents Albert Coleman and Annielee G. Coleman. She passed away at 92, on June 22, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. She will always be remembered as a special, sweet, big-hearted, and loving individual as a mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to those that knew and loved her.
She proudly served in the United Service Organization during World War II, and then met and married the love of her life, Frank Drews in Dallas, Texas. Frank and Dorothy had two sons, Douglas and Thomas Drews, who went to be with the Lord before her.
She was a dedicated member of the Lake Highland Presbyterian Church and community for over 40 years. She enjoyed gardening, watching British comedies, reading C.S. Lewis books, attending bible groups, spending time with her loved ones, serving her community, and following the Lord. Dorothy is survived by her granddaughters, Tiffany and Diane, cousin Bob Craig, and three generations of loving family members.
