Dorothy Adalaid Stapleton Evans passed away peacefully on July 23, 2017 in Waco, Texas. Dorothy passed away on her 94th birthday and received the greatest gift of all, Gods loving arms. She was retired from the Texas Coffin Company after working there for 35 years. She loved family gatherings, the lake, playing cards, cooking and canning foods. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Evans. She is survived by one daughter Donna Teakell and husband J.D. of Hewitt, one son David Stapleton and wife Robin of Whitney, 6 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 10-11 am with a graveside service to follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
