I have fond memories of Dorothy Brown Glassman from childhood, when we both attended the Methodist church in Los Angeles. She was a very sweet and beautiful girl, a blue-eyed blonde, and had many friends. We would sometimes have long talks during which we would share our deepest feelings. We remained friends into young adulthood, when we would sometimes double-date -- me with a young man she introduced me to. Rest in peace, Dorothy. You are among the angels now. Sweet rest.

Dorothy and I met many years ago when I was her RCIA sponsor at church. We’ve had a long and blessed friendship. She was kind, loving, and generous of spirit. I miss her. My prayers are with Katie and Breanna, and much love always.

Dorothy and her daughters moved to my street when I was 7 years old. I have so many memories of her. She was a kind soul and loving human being. The world is poorer for absence. My heart goes out to Katie and Breanna.
