When she graduated from Groesbeck High School, she went on to attend Prairie View A&M University where she met and married Willie Perry Love. Once she graduated Prairie View and became a registered nurse and she never stopped working. She worked very hard for her family.
Her husband Willie Perry Love preceded her in death as well as her son Michael Anthony Love. She is survived by her two daughters Cheri Love and Terry Love-Gray (Odell), her grandchildren Porcia, Courtney (Akee), and Taylor Love, and great grandsons Cameron, Christian, and Chance Love. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Her entire life was her family. She LOVED her grandchildren and did any and everything she could to ensure a beautiful life for them all. She created memories with her family, smiling, dancing, singing her favorite songs, enjoying life the way she knew how.
Dorothy will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her smile will continue to light up the room in memory.
