Dorothy Helen Marsh

Dorothy Helen Marsh, Born April 23, 1923--went to be with Jesus on June 12, 2015. Remembered as loving mother and grandmother with a heart full of God’s grace and mercy, always hopeful and always optimistic. After attending Adamson High School, Dorothy went to work for Ripley Shirts and Nordus of Dallas as a Clothing Inspector. Her fashion sense and beautiful looks made heads turn, but Dorothy also had a beautiful heart. In 1976 she accepted Jesus as her Savior and found tremendous joy sharing Christ with children, working along-side her daughter-in-law and other extended family at the First Baptist Dallas Daycare for ten years before her retirement. Dorothy is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Clark White; mother, Cora Lou White; daughter-in-law, Wanda Marsh; and grandson Jason Reed Marsh. She is survived by three sons: James Marsh and wife, Mary; Ronnie Marsh, and Stephen Marsh; her grandchildren, Chris Marsh and wife, Jo Ann; Joel Marsh, and wife Kelly; Michael Marsh, and wife Desiree’ and J.P. Marsh, and wife Kaci; granddaughter-in-law, Debbie Marsh; and eleven great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6000 S. RL Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232-- Monday, June 15th, 2015 at 10:00 am, with grandson, Chris Marsh, officiating. Visitation is Sunday, June 14th, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
