Dorothy Marie Clay Pierce was born December 8, 1925, Waco, TX, to Calvin Griffin Clay and Minnie Ola Hunsucker, she was the seventh child of nine children. She spent her life enjoying and singing with her large family. She married Fred Clanton Pierce in 1946. In 1948 Becky Marie Pierce was born, Della Marlene Pierce was born in 1950, Fred Clanton Pierce Jr in 1956 and Cheryl Denise Pierce in 1964. The couple were devout members of the Seventh-Day-Adventist church approximately 64 years. She loved the Lord with all her heart and did much good for all, we love and will miss our sweet mother. She was preceded in death by her eight siblings born to her mother. Her husband Fred C. Pierce Sr. and Grandchild Chuck Cunningham She is survived by her children: Becky, Della, Fred, and Denise; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren another soon to be born and the first great-great grandchild also soon to be born.
