Earl Wallace Commons of Desoto, TX, was born September 23, 1943, in McKinney, TX and passed away January 26, 2015, in Dallas, TX. Earl was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Commons, and his brother, Mike Commons. He was survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia Brown Commons (Pat); his mother, Gladys Commons; son, Chad Commons; daughter, Lori Garza and husband, Jesse; two grandsons, Brennen Commons and wife, Suzanne, and Ryan Rutledge and wife, Lorena; granddaughter, Katelyn Smithey; and 10 great-grandchildren: Ashton, Angel, Mackenzie, Andrew, Dakota, Hanna, Teaghan, Noel, Eliana, and Ian.
Earl went to work at Lone Star Gas (Atmos Energy) at age 18 and remained a dedicated employee until the time of his death.
Earl was loved and respected by many, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
