Eddie J. Adkins passed away, peacefully, on June 28, 2010 in Dallas, TX at the age of 84. He was born in Baxter Springs, KS on Feburary 18, 1926 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Eddie is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Joyce; children, Michael Adkins of Dallas, TX, Linda and husband Ted of Lawrence, KS, Barbara Thompson of Goshen, NY; stepchildren, Keane and wife Deborah McClelland, Desire Korn & Cody McClelland; 4 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and his faithful dogs, "Spot" and "Little Bear". Graveside services will be held at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Dallas SPCA.
