Edith Faye Davis passed away peacefully on April 27, 2011, at Leslie Lakes Retirement Center in Arcadia, La. She was born October 10, 1917, near Greenville, Texas. Faye was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Clarence "Speck" Davis. Faye was a long-time resident of East Dallas, and a member of Eastridge Park Christian Church. She is survived by nieces, Merlene Holub, Jane Gabrielson, and Linda Haddox, and nephew, Michael Bentley. A graveside service will be held at Grove Hill Cemetery Tuesday, May 3rd, at 1:00 p.m.
