Rev. Edward Mullen

Edward Mullen was born July 03, 1940 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to mother, Jessie Mullins and father, Jeff Mullins. He was the 6th of 10 children. As a youth, Edward attended Plymouth Rock Baptist Church, Hattiesburg Mississippi. Edward was educated at Baysprings School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Edward married his soul-mate Lillie Murphy in Hattiesburg Mississippi.(55 years) This union produced 5 children. Edward was a member of the Masonic Lodge with a 33 degree place as well as a Grand Lecturer. He also was ordained as a minister at Martin Luther King Baptist Church, Lancaster Texas 1987. With many skilled trades, he worked for a Brick Yard company in Mississippi, Owned his own lawn mower repair, Car repair, and worked many years for Dallas Independent School District.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Loretta (Rhodes) Mullins, Jeff Mullins, brothers Julius Mullen, Robert Joe Mullen, James Ralph Mullins, sisters Jannie Ruth Mullins, Dorothy Gadberry, Lillie Delores Thomas, Mary Bell Davis, sons Marcus Ivan Mullen, Dedrick Eugene Mullen.,

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, wife Lillie Mullen, 3 daughters, Mattie Mullen – Children, Bridgette Wright, Rickey Wright Jr., Pamela Brewer ( Walter) – Children, Shamia Blackmon, Ivan Mullen, LaDarius Morgan, Dieadrea Wallace ( Michael ) – Children, Chantel Edley, Samone Richardson, Danielle Turner, Aimee Wallace. Brittany Wright, along with 16 other great grandkids. Brother Eddie Mullen, Dallas TX, Sister Mary Mullen, Dallas, TX , Sister-in-law Inez Mullins, Dallas Texas along with a host of family and friends that span from Wiggins Mississippi, Newark New Jersey and San Francisco California.
