Edward Slater, longtime resident of Dallas, died on December 11, 2021. He was born in the Bronx, NY on July 6, 1936. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Abe Slater; and longtime friend, Karl Mihay.
Ed is survived by his cousin, Peter and wife Janet Ostrow; partner, Gary Walker; and many friends.
Ed retired from T.I. and Delta Airlines. He volunteered at the Cathedral of Hope, he was an Ambassador at DFW Airport, and he was a longtime active member including operations of Prime Timers of DFW. Ed enjoyed worldwide travels.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cathedral of Hope on January 11, 2022 at 1 PM.
