Elaine Reimann, age 63, of Dallas, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022. She was a graduate of Marian High School in Birmingham, MI, class of 1976, and received her BA from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN, in 1980.
A mother of four who adored her kids, she cherished her administrative position at Notre Dame Preparatory High School, in Pontiac, Michigan, where her children attended school. Upon moving to Dallas, she worked at Christ the King Catholic School where she greeted visitors with her bright smile, taught the students songs and jokes from her youth and shared her devout Catholic faith with the school community.
She was a beloved sister who shared a strong bond with her siblings. Her pride in her role as mother and sister was rivaled only by that of grandmother. Her five grandchildren were the center of her world and gave her endless joy.
Her sense of humor and positive outlook brought laughter and happiness to everyone she touched. She truly loved all things Texan, not the least of which was a George Strait concert with Chuck.
She is survived by her children, Kate Reimann-Munter, Trip Reimann, Brian Reimann and Tim Reimann; her loving partner Charles Smith; her siblings, Bill Reimann, Paul Mark Reimann and Kip Karsnia; her grandchildren, Paul, Jude, Anne, Robert and Lucy.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in her honor to Folds of Honor or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, the two charities she supported most. Or buy a coffee for a service member or first responder, one of her favorite (and frequent) acts of kindness.
A Memorial Service will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, Dallas, Texas, on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 10:00 AM.
