Elbert L. Orsborn

Elbert Lee Orsborn Jr. was born on April 23, 1931 in Edgewood, TX to parents Elbert Sr. and Queba Orsborn. He attended college and later married Annie Dean Berry Orsborn. He was a proud member of the United States Air Force. Elbert enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, studying genealogy, and traveling to all fifty states. He was known to have a great sense of humor, and he will be missed by those who loved him most.

Elbert is survived by his daughter Julia Martinez(Jose); daughter in law Esther Orsborn; grandchildren Andrew Alonzo and Paul Alonzo; great grandson Liam Alonzo; special niece Sherry Givens (Barry); nephews Barry Orsborn (Jeanne), Terry Orsborn, Randy Orsborn (Shannon), Richard Kinney, and Stephen Kinney; great nephews D’Andre Givens, David Orsborn, and Reese Orsborn; great niece Sydney Orsborn. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Annie Orsborn, son Kenneth Orsborn, sisters Wanza Kinney and Ruth Ellen. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Grove Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Oak Hill Cemetery in Edgewood, Texas.
