

He served in the United States Air Force as an Airman 2nd Class Rank E-3, he was a Baptist, and enjoyed restoring antique cars. He was a hard worker and was successful in his career but he loved being a cattle rancher. He spent most of his time working on his ranch in Crandall, Texas. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Jim is preceded in death by, the love of his life, his spouse of 54 years, Frances Louise Watt (Head); his parents, Dorothy F. Fischer and Eldred J Watt; siblings, Joan Sauer, Florence Watt Reiser, Arthur Watt; children, Pam Richardson and Michael Watt; and grandson, Forest Richardson.
He is survived by his children, Greg Watt (Jacqueline), Jeff Watt (Kerri), and Kristi Renteria (Jason); grandchildren, Tyler Watt, Patrick Watt, Alicia Watt, Jenny Heckman, Abigail Renteria, Collin Renteria and Blake Renteria; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Phillip Watt (Nancy) and family, sisters-in-law, Carol Head and Shirley Watt; Jodie Carlton, Travis Watt, Jason Patry and families; brother-in-law Joe Head (Melba), Johnny Head, Melissa Humphreys and families; daughter-in-law, Susan Watt; and nieces, Dena Cormany, Darla McNeely, Delaine Head and families.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital or the American Cancer Society in Jim's name.
