Elizabeth (Liz) DeMasters, 85, of Foley, Alabama, died, Saturday, June 3, 2017, at home in Prosper, Texas where she had relocated within the past year. She was born on June 5, 1931, in Roseland, Virginia, the daughter of Thomas James Mays and Elsie Mae Dulin Mays.
Liz was retired and very active in her church in Foley, Alabama, until she became ill in 2015. Liz was married to V. Lee DeMasters.
She was survived by husband V. Lee DeMasters of Virginia; two sons Jon (Leah) Miller of Celina, Texas, and Thomas (Tammy) Miller of Prosper, Texas; and five grandchildren, Taylor, Laurissa, Alexandria, Ella, Bailey and Jason Miller; extended family members, daughter, Debbie (Dennis) Thompson of Wisconsin and son, Terry Nichols of Illinios; grandchildren Tenille, Davey, Belisa, Charlene, and Tracey; great grandchildren, Amy and Sean.
She is preceded in death by husband Carroll H. Miller. Graveside service will be held June 8, 2017, at 1pm with visitation from 11-12:30 pm. Reverend Ben Mullen will be officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.sparkman-hillcrest.com
