Every now and then the world is blessed with someone who exudes pure and selfless love and is a light to everyone they meet. Ellah was this person to anyone who was lucky to meet her. Her sweet smile and gracious spirit made her the kindest soul any of us knew.
Ellah was lucky enough to find and marry her one true love, Ruben, and has now gone to be with him again. From this beautiful Union, Ellah was blessed with her pride and joy, Sarah.
Ellah spent 29 years as a graphic designer at the Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas. She was so proud of her time there and loved everything she did during her years there. Upon retirement in 2017, Ellah began exploring her interests and found great joy in becoming an avid volunteer at Sharing Life, even being their volunteer of the year in 2022. Ellah loved singing in her church choir, and particularly looked forward to the Christmas program every year. She also loved dogs, and never met a dog she didn’t love.
Ellah found a great passion in traveling and loved to travel at any opportunity, especially with her family. She enjoyed countless trips with her daughter Sarah, as well as so many wonderful travels with her niece Audrey and her family. Many priceless memories were made on these family trips.
Ellah had recently discovered a passion for crafting and you could find her at craft stores or working away in her craft room on countless pieces. She would proudly show off what she was working on and tell you all about her creations.
Ellah found a true passion in being a Nana, and was so elated to spend her time with her grandsons, Michael and Jacob. Being a Nana was her pride and joy and she would light up at the mere opportunity to brag about everything Nana.
Ellah is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Pina. Her parents Woodrow Wilson King and Mildred Reno King. As well as her beloved in-laws, Esecquiel Pina and Esperanza Pina.
Ellah is survived by her daughter Sarah Pina, daughter in law Stephanie Pina, and grandsons Jacob and Michael.
