Sorry for your loss. We bought our Little Forest Hills Home on Redondo from the Wallace’s around 8 years ago. We enjoyed going over to their house on Diceman to visit. My husband tinkered with RD on a couple of home repairs, we shared some dinners, & the best part was listening to stories from their past. They enjoyed coming over & seeing the old Redondo house as we started remodeling. RD told us the things he built, Sweet Ellen loved telling her stories about how they met & how much she missed her family in Germany. She loved her collectibles in her glass cases & had stories for those too. They shared their favorite places to eat in Casa Linda & taught us the tricks of how to buy a meal & split between 2 people. Fat Daddy Burgers & Dickeys were their favorites! Ellen told me one day she would get out pictures of them when they were young. Their house was literally filled with memories of all the good times they shared together. We enjoyed our short time with the both of them. Their love story inspired us to never give up during difficult times.Rest In Peace Beautiful Lady ~sending Much Love from Brent & Sharon Aston
