I was blessed to have met Danny. I will never forget him taking our kids to the Museum for our sons 5th birthday. He even went out of his way all the time to HELP our family. He always opened his doors and arms for us making us feel like his family. I didnt know you long but I felt like i knew you forever. My kids loved you so much. We will never forget you.

When I first moved to Dallas, Danny and Virginia quickly became my friends. Danny, myself and my daughter, Anna played Farkle into the night while laughing at Buddy, Danny’s dog, and my dog Maggie running and playing like old friends. We had a blast. That was 14 years ago. I will always remember and miss his contagious laugh and crazy sense of humor

I have a lifetime of memories of my uncle Danny. He was a great man! He loved his family with everything in him no matter what. When my mom Delinda wanted him to let me live with him in Austin as a kid he accepted me with no questions! To him being there for me and my 5 brothers and sisters when his sister passed.. To him being there as we were raised by his mother. Danny- you are the coolest uncle I could have ever asked for.. I mean your sister named me after you! I will never FORGET our times together! I love you Danny and I will always be here for your kids and grandkids!

Emmitt always had a smile on his face and was always eager to help out with any issues that came up. I loved hearing his stories about his life experiences, especially about his time in the Navy. He was so good about making sure to not give me a hard time about the fact that at one point I had over 400 updates needed on my computer. He sat there with me and we laughed and chatted during the VERY long update process. He will be remembered for his kind, caring heart and will be missed by so many. May he rest in love.

There are no words to describe Emmitt if you knew him, you were lucky. He talked to you even if you didn't want to speak putting a smile on your face with his corny jokes or sayings. My fav memory is when I missed a day of seeing him,he would ask me the nxt day did I miss him? My answer would always be NO,but now I can say YES i miss my friend. Your always in my heart.
