Mr. Ernest Glenn Meier

Ernest Glenn Meier, age 84, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on August 17, 2023. He was born January 12, 1939, in Wheelock, TX, to Ernest and Leona Meier. He attended a Catholic school for boys then moved to Dallas where met his wife, Elizabeth. They wed on April 30, 1969, and raised two daughters, Marlena and Deatra. He started his career with Vought/Northrop Grumman in Grand Prairie, TX , where he worked until 1994.

After retiring, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, going to church, and visiting the retirement center. Ernest will be remembered for his love of motorcycles, watch repair and making memorable impressions with his stories. He was always creative, friendly and entertaining. Ernest was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Meier, parents Ernest Meier, Leona Cox, nephew Jason Blake, and brother in-law Jerry Blake and other family members Ernest is survived by his daughter Marlena and husband Pete Alaspa, daughter Deatra and husband Tracy Foy; grandchildren, Ashley Burt, Melanie Flanagan, Brandon Alaspa, Briana Flanagan, Brittany Zamora and Erika Murray, sister-in-law, Janie Wood , niece Jena Blake, nephews Jared Blake, Jeremy Blake, and several great grandchildren..
